Why this dinner
A dinner, not a networking event.
The best conversations at any conference happen after the sessions end — in the hallway, at the bar, in the queue for coffee. The VIP dinner is an attempt to create that environment intentionally, for the people who have the most specific questions.
AgentConf is a working conference for people building agentic AI systems. The dinner is for the people who spent the day in the same working sessions and have something concrete to talk about — not the attendees who are there out of curiosity, and not the sponsors who are there to introduce themselves.
The guest list is the constraint. Thirty to forty people, selected from conference registrants and invited operators. If you are actively shipping agentic AI systems and you register for the conference, you can note your interest in the dinner. Invites go to active operators first.

You are shipping AI agents as the core product — not adding them to an existing workflow. You have real questions about pricing, reliability, and what "agent-quality" means to customers.

You are in a regulated industry — healthcare, finance, logistics — and you need to evaluate whether agentic AI is production-ready for your compliance environment. SOC 2, HIPAA, on-prem. Real constraints.

Engineers running agents in production
You have a running system. It works most of the time. You are dealing with the gap between the prototype that won the demo and the production system that has to not fail on a Tuesday.

AI architects designing multi-agent systems
You are making the decisions about orchestration patterns, MCP integrations, tool use policies, and failure recovery. You want to hear how other architects solved the same problems with different constraints.

Operators in regulated verticals
You run the system that other people depend on — a clinic, a logistics operation, a government service. You need agentic AI to work in your environment, not in a demo environment. You want to talk to people who have done it.
What to expect
Three things you can count on.
A seated dinner for 30–40 people. Actual tables, actual food, actual conversation. Not a cocktail reception.
No sponsor presentations, no pitch slots, no award ceremonies. The VZU team will be there. The speakers will be there. The operators will be there. That is the agenda.
If there is a cost to attend, it will be stated plainly before you commit — no markups, no surprise invoices. Cost-recovery pricing if applicable.
If the dinner has a cost, it will be stated before you commit. There are no hidden fees, no sponsor upsells, no markup on the venue cost.
Format
The dinner is on September 17, the night before.
Doors open at 19:00. Seating is pre-arranged — not random, not by company. The seating is designed so that the people who have the most to discuss are near each other.
The dinner runs until approximately 22:00. There is no scheduled program after the meal — if the conversation continues, the bar is available. There is no morning session the next day.
The VZU team attends. The confirmed speakers attend. The invited operators attend. No press, no analysts, no sales teams.
